A clarion call for representatives

The Poverty Truth Commission is looking for individuals interested in forming a Start Up Group. The Start Up Group has three main aims:

To help shape the Commission moving forward and to determine its Geography (Northampton, West Northamptonshire, North Northamptonshire or any combination thereof).

To seek out individuals who have a story to tell about their real life experience of Poverty and what it means to them.

To seek funding to ensure the sustainability of the Commission for a period of 12 to 15 months.

No experience is required, just the motivation to work with others and raise the profile of Poverty and its many faces. Expressions of Interest are particularly welcome from Voluntary Sector Organisations, the Public Sector, Local Business Leaders and most importantly members of the community who may have experienced poverty in some shape or form.
